Marian Rivera on being called a stage mom: I don’t care

Marian Rivera (Facebook) Despite being among succesful actresses of her generation Marian Rivera prioritizes one thing -- being a mom to her kids, Zia (6) and Sixto (5).Marian's dedication to her children is living proof that being in the limelight and being a hands-on mom is doable.In an interview, Marian shared how she once dropped a scheduled activity to attend Zia's school event.

"Meron akong endorsement, launching day. Nagkataon na speaker siya [Zia] sa school. Sabi ko, ‘Anak, hindi kita mapupuntahan.



’ Sabi niya, 'Okay, Mama. If you will not go to school, hindi na ako magiging speaker. I will just out myself," Marian shared.

Naiusod naman dahil lahat naman ng mga iniendorso ko, alam nila talaga na priority ko talaga ang kids ko.

So, na-adjust. Malinaw sa kanila at sa akin na hindi puwedeng ma-miss ko ang lahat ng activities nila sa school," Marian added.Marian doesn't mind being called a stage mom if it means being present for her kids' milestones.

"Okay lang kahit sabihin na stage mom, I don’t care. Nandun ako sa stage na poprotektahan ko yung mga anak ko hanggang kaya ko at maitutuwid ko kung ano yung nakikita kong hindi okay," she said.
