Mapua University remained unbeaten in men's volleyball after outlasting Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20, 25-27, 15-12, in NCAA Season 100 on Thursday at the Arellano University gym in Manila. Ar-jay Ramos delivered the final blow for the Cardinals to cap his 27-point outing. Ramos had 24 attacks, two blocks, and an ace, while Marlowe Jamisola had 20 points.
Juancho Barba also had 25 out of the Intramuros-based squad's 27 excellent sets. Ruther Abor, meanwhile, had 19 points as EAC slipped to 2-2 in the standings. Earlier, their female counterparts also survived a five-setter against the Lady Generals, 27-25, 25-21, 22-25, 19-25, 15-10.
