Manmohan Singh NEW DELHI: Recalling his association with former PM Manmohan Singh , who was teaching in Delhi School of Economics when he was a student, the PM's principal secretary P K Mishra said the country had lost a "very distinguished leader , an eminent economist and a great human being". "My memories of Manmohan Singh date back to the time when he was teaching at Delhi School of Economics. I was in my MA first year those days.

Seeing him among the stalwart professors in that era was reassuring for a student like me, having come from Sambalpur in western Odisha," Mishra said.
