Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba is considering his transfer options as a free agent. Pogba has found himself at the centre of a major controversy in recent months following a reduction on his ban for failing a doping test back in February. After a lengthy battle, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) accepted Pogba's explanation that his ingestion of a banned substance was "not intentional".

Pogba initially set out his plan to resume his career at Juventus but the club were quick to reject the chance of the France international being brought back into the fold in Turin. Following quickfire talks with Pogba's representatives, an exit package was agreed to cancel his contract, and he will leave the club on November 30.

Paul Pogba's next club As a free agent, Pogba is available to join a new club outside of the transfer window, with links to the Premier League emerging in recent days. However, despite rumours of a return to Old Trafford - where he spent six years following a world record £89m ($116m) move back to Manchester from Juventus previously - the Red Devils are not looking to bring him in. As per reports from Talksport , whispers of Pogba being invited to train at United's facilities at Carrington as he looks for a new club are not true.

Pogba will begin the search for a new challenge, but his playing ban remains in place until March, which could deter clubs from making an offer until the summer..
