Man dies in bike-jeep collision

Ludhiana: A 30-year-old man, Gurpreet Singh Jaggi of Bagli Kalan village, died when his motorcycle was allegedly struck by a speeding Rubicon jeep on Samrala Road in Khanna on Saturday night. Gurpreet, a mason and father of two young daughters, was on his way to Civil Hospital in Khanna to be with his wife and newborn. His brother claims the jeep, traveling at 150 kilometres an hour hit a truck before dragging Gurpreet.

Police have seized the vehicle and registered a case against the driver.
