Manchester City have revealed record-breaking revenues for the season in which they achieved a historic fourth consecutive English football championship title. The club generated £715 million in revenue, a slight increase from their Treble-winning 2022-23 season, surpassing local rivals Manchester United 's earnings by £43 million over the same period. This confirmation of City's dominance in the Premier League , both on and off the pitch, comes as a timely boost ahead of the upcoming Manchester derby on Sunday.

Although City's profits decreased from £80.4 million to £73.8 million, they earned a remarkable £139 million from player sales alone during a season in which Pep Guardiola secured his sixth title in seven years.

The club also reached the Champions League quarter-finals and the FA Cup Final, following their achievement as only the second English club to win the clean sweep the previous year. Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak stated: "Our consistent ambition to target and achieve the unprecedented is a mark of the organisation that we have become. "On and off the field, our passion for the next challenge is underpinned by deliberate and detailed planning and a strong belief in the collaborative learning culture that we have built.

"This organisational approach is now part of our DNA. It is a product of the unwavering focus on constant improvement in every aspect of the organisation that has been in place since His Highness Sheikh Mansour became the club's custodian in 2008." City are eager to steer their season in the right direction as they face United, aiming to reverse a recent slump that saw seven defeats in their last 10 matches.

The Sky Blues are also embroiled in a hefty legal tussle with the Premier League , having been slammed with 130 allegations of providing inaccurate financial details between 2009 and 2018. In their annual report, City acknowledged these charges but steadfastly emphasized that they've furnished "irrefutable" evidence to an independent body, corroborating their standpoint. Last season, City captivated the most eyeballs globally, boasting 694m viewers on TV internationally following their exploits.

Moreover, they outstripped rivals in the league's digital content game, amassing a staggering 10 billion views across social media giants like Facebook, Instagram , X and TikTok . Ferran Soriano, the club chairman, reflected with pride: "Our fourth consecutive Premier League title was an achievement that took Manchester City to a place where no other English club has ever been." He continued: "Winning the Treble the previous season did not generate any sense of complacency in our teams, on or off the pitch.

We understand very well that the relentless pursuit of beautiful football, operational excellence and innovation requires hard work and resilience.".
