A man has been charged following an investigation into a series of incidents on the Metrolink in recent days. Ghalib Saeed, 31, of Eadington Street, Manchester, has been charged with four counts of administration of noxious substance with intent, and three counts of causing a public nuisance. It follows reports of several incidents on tram services between Bury and Manchester Victoria over the weekend which left several passengers "feeling unwell".
He was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, March 25.
