Locals described seeing police dogs alongside the officers outside the home in Balding Close on Thursday morning (April 10). The arrested man, a 51-year-old, is now in custody.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "A pre-planned firearms warrant was carried out in Balding Close, Wisbech at 6am today (Thursday). "A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of a firearm and is currently in custody." Cambridgeshire Police also confirmed that the warrant was carried out with the support of armed officers.
