Man arrested for cutting birthday cake with sword

Vadodara: Cutting his birthday cake with a sword landed a 21-year-old man in trouble, as he was arrested by the police on Friday. The Warasia police arrested Krish Malani, a resident of Vraj Icon Apartment on Warasia Road, for allegedly violating rules regarding the use and display of weapons in public. The arrest followed a viral video showing Malani celebrating his birthday by cutting the cake with a sword.

In the footage, he is seen flashing the sword before the cake-cutting ceremony. Based on the video, the police tracked him down and seized the sword from his residence. Malani, a businessman, has no prior criminal record, according to the authorities.
