Man arrested as police descend on street amid 'disturbance'

Officers were called to a property yesterday afternoon

A man was arrested in Levenshulme after police responded to a 'disturbance'. Police descended on Eltham Street at around 1.50pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday, October 20).

Pictures showed a number of police vans and cars on the street. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers responded to the disturbance at an address. A man was then arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage.
