Man arrested after man in his 90s found dead in regional Victoria

Tweet Facebook Mail A man has been arrested after another man in his 90s was found dead at a home in Morwell, in Victoria's Gippsland region. Police were called to a property in Maryvale Road about 9.20pm yesterday.

When they searched the property, they found a man in his 90s dead inside. READ MORE: Near miss at airport less than 24 hours before horror crash The deceased man is yet to be formally identified. Searching the nearby area, police found another man, who has been arrested and taken into police custody.



No charges have yet been laid. Homicide Squad detectives have been called in to investigate, but police said the investigation is in its infancy.
