Man arrested after argument leads to shooting, police say

Milo Denwiddie, 47, was charged with three felonies — possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, criminal recklessness and theft of a firearm, police said.

According to police, Milo Denwiddie, 47, was charged in connection with the incident in the 1000 block of West 7th Street with three felonies — possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, criminal recklessness and theft of a firearm. The shooting came on the heels of an argument between Denwiddie and a 25-year-old female acquaintance. When the woman left Denwiddie's home and got into another man's vehicle that had a child inside, Denwiddie exchanged shots with the male driver, police said.

According to police, no one was injured by the gunshots. Subsequent investigation determined Denwiddie is not permitted to possess a firearm and the gun he used in the shooting was reported stolen from Indianapolis, police said.
