Chennai: A 34-year-old man wanted in an attempt-to-murder case filed by Ramanathapuram police was nabbed by immigration officials just when he landed at Chennai airport from Muscat late on Wednesday. The accused, M Marimuthu, had been absconding for more than a decade. Kadaladi police had issued a look-out circular against him based on information that he had escaped abroad.
On Wednesday night, Marimuthu reached Chennai aboard an Oman Airlines flight. Immigration officials checked his passport and found out that there was a look-out notice pending against him. He was handed over to the airport police.
