A significant 999 response flooded Eighth Street in Horden last night (April 10) following reports of an incident later categorised as being of a domestic nature. Officers were first called to the scene at 10.30pm where they soon arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of affray and harassment.
He remains in custody. Recommended: Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called at 10.30pm yesterday (April 10) following reports of an ongoing domestic incident at a house in Eighth Street, Horden.
"Officers attended and arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of affray and harassment. "He was taken into police custody where he remains today.".
