Man, 22, charged over alleged screwdriver assault during brawl

The 22-year-old man allegedly became involved in a fight with a group of people on Reed Street in Glass House Mountains in Queensland's Sunshine Coast Hinterland yesterday.

The 22-year-old man allegedly became involved in a fight with a group of people on Reed Street in Glass House Mountains in Queensland's Sunshine Coast Hinterland yesterday. Police say one person was wounded by a screwdriver and the perpetrator ran to a nearby train station.

30pm and the man was arrested near the train station. He has since been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed. The man will face Maroochydore Magistrates Court on October 31.
