The make up artist-turned-mental health campaigner was in fact caught up in a vicious 'cycle' using different credit cards, until she was hit by a huge bill. Yet, the 'addiction' - as she called it - made her reckless and unreliable, using her mum's inheritance to pay off her debt after she died from stomach cancer in 2017. The TV sensation admitted if she didn't have such money at the time, she wouldn't know what to do.

It was addictive and ridiculous,' Malin admitted speaking to The Mirror. 'You think those types of treatments are minor - a quick £200 or £300.
But I took out loans to pay for them and they were like small pockets of debt. 'I wasn't worried about the money at the time. I didn't care.
It wasn't like I was spending £10,000 on big surgery. But that's the dangerous part of getting Botox and filler.' The internet star reflected: 'I loved a payday loan.
It cost me more to pay it back than what I took out. And then when my mum died, I had to use her money to pay it all off. I got stuck in the cycle.
'I was young and I didn't care about the repercussions of what I spent my money on.' Malin has previously used her social media platforms to talk about her own journey with cosmetic surgery, often issuing warning to her followers and trying to raise awareness. She has been praised by fans for becoming a vocal campaigner for body confidence, the dark side of fame and the problems with social media since moving into the limelight.
In a recent post from last month, she encouraged her followers to 'throw away the weighing scales'. 'I wasted all my savings and got payday loans out for Botox and lip fillers in my early twenties. Malin penned in the caption: 'THROW AWAY THE WEIGHING SCALES BECAUSE EACH TIME YOU STEP ON THEM YOU'RE TELLING YOURSELF YOU ARE UNLOVABLE AND NOT WORTHY OF YOUR OWN TRUST AND GUIDANCE WITHIN YOURSELF.' She wore her brunette tresses in a choppy bob and opted for a glowing, natural makeup look. Malin has used her Instagram to document her journey and weight loss, showing her dedicated fitness regime and how it helps her both mentally and physically.

Malin explained that she had ventured to Turkey seven years ago to undergo the fat removal, however carrying both her daughters, Xaya, two, and Consy, who tragically passed away at just 30 days old in 2019, left her skin damaged.
In an accompanying caption, she penned: 'When you get liposuction 7 years ago, have two babies but you still have lumpy strange skin on your stomach from it...

The couple met in late 2017 and Malin has been open about the abuse and emotional torment she suffered while in the on/off relationship.
