The Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI® board of directors, under the chairmanship of Jason Miyashita, has established the NextGen Leaders Board, Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI announced in a press release. This committee was created to assist the board of directors, president and CEO, and chapter staff by engaging talented young professionals to act as goodwill ambassadors on behalf of Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI. The NextGen Leaders Board serves as a significant resource to the Make-A-Wish® Guam and CNMI organization through its support of the organization's mission and programs.

The NextGen Leaders Board represents the diversity and breadth of the community served by Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI. In addition, the NextGen Leaders Board operates as the future of philanthropic leadership in the community, committed to ensuring that each and every eligible Guam and CNMI child experiences the life-changing power of a wish, the organization said in the release. The organization's hope is that the NextGen Leaders Board will introduce its network of friends and associates to the mission to expand community support for and awareness of the Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI organization.
