A NEW Oasis album would be the biggest music event of the decade – after the band’s reunion tour, of course. And we can reveal that Noel Gallagher has been laying down tracks in the studio and the opportunity is there for brother Liam to add his trademark vocals. But the famously volatile pair wouldn’t have to meet up at Noel’s Lone Star Studios in North London — the singer could do his bit REMOTELY in another studio.

An insider tells me: “Noel has been making new music for a few months and has around six tracks in the bag. "Now Liam could always add his vocals remotely, to avoid any bust-ups between the two siblings. “It’s of the utmost importance that they are as harmonious as possible ahead of their massive reunion.

READ MORE ON OASIS “There is intense speculation in the record industry that Noel is to exploit the huge success of their reunion tour to finally invite Liam on his tunes.” While industry insiders claim the offer has been made, it has been intensely denied by Noel and Liam’s people, who insist the pair want to focus on the tour . Yet the source added: “Noel knows the reunion is about the hits but he doesn’t want them to be purely a nostalgia act.

"He has the tunes ready to go and if things continue to work well with Liam then it could be amazing.” Most read in Bizarre Of course, the toxic legacy of Oasis’s Be Here Now 1997 recording has gone down in history , thanks to tales of drug-fuelled studio sessions. It’s understandable why they would want to avoid a repeat of that.

Last year, Noel revealed he had written 40 songs in lockdown. Some were included on Council Skies, his last album with the High Flying Birds , but he said there were enough for two further albums. Surely now is the time to unleash them.

Perrie: Solo's tough PERRIE EDWARDS has told how she is finding a solo career harder than expected following her huge success with Little Mix . The singer, who released third solo single You Go Your Way last month, said at The Music Industry Trusts Awards: “It’s harder because I’m starting from scratch and I’m not going to get to that place any time soon. "It’s hard work to get me there.

I just want to be on the big stages performing my solo material.” She added of going it alone: “It’s nothing like I expected. That’s not in a negative way.

"It’s just different. The way we work is very different, the way we promote. “But I just love singing and making music and creating.

” Dua gig ruled unsafe DUA LIPA was forced to cancel a gig in Indonesia last night amid safety concerns over the staging. The New Rules hitmaker had been set to play at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta as part of her Radical Optimism Tour. But she revealed she was “heartbroken” to let her fans down following the “unforeseen safety and logistical issues”.

Sharing a statement with her 87.4million Instagram followers, Dua wrote: “I am here in your amazing country and ready to perform, but I am gutted that it has been determined it is not safe for the performance to carry on due to safety issues with the staging. “I was so looking forward to this night and it truly pains me that we cannot perform for you.

"I love you all and can’t wait to be back together in the same room with you singing and dancing our hearts out as soon as possible.” Organisers TEM Presents and PK Entertainment said axing the gig was not an easy decision. A joint statement read: “Despite Dua Lipa’s readiness to perform, and the team’s diligent efforts to resolve critical production issues related to the stage structure provided by Mata Elang Prod-uctions, it is not safe for the performance to carry on.

“This very difficult decision to cancel was made with the utmost care and consideration for the safety of the audiences and artist.” Dua is set to fly to Manila, in the Philippines, for her next scheduled tour date on Wednesday. IT’S 15 years since JLS’s debut album and to celebrate they have unveiled an anniversary collection.

It includes a Beat Again remix, un-plugged version of Crazy For You and chilled-out piano-and-beats rework of Everybody In Love. So what is the key to their longevity? JB Gill says: “We’re still good friends. We talk all the time, we want to hang out.

” But Aston Merrygold reckons it was all manfested. He said: “We wrote down everything we wanted to achieve before we went on The X Factor – we listed all these crazy things that went on to happen. We believe in the law of attraction.

” I hope they attract a No1 album. An even Steven SIR STEVE McQUEEN is reviving the search for a first black or mixed-race James Bond . I’m told the 12 Years A Slave director is championing the cause after we revealed he is being lined up to helm the next 007 movie.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson remains the bookies’ favourite to land the role. But a source said: “The casting search is ongoing despite Aaron thinking it is a done deal. “There’s diversity pushbacks and a need to modernise the franchise.

” It comes after actor John Boyega insisted he would only consider taking part if Steve was on board. He said: “With Steve directing, let’s do this. We could show them something different.

We’ll still bring that sophistication.” Other actors in the frame for a black Bond are Rege-Jean Page, Damson Idris and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Thank God for Nick NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS raised the roof on the first of two nights at London’s O2 Arena for their Wild God tour.

Impeccably dressed in a black suit, shirt and tie, Nick, became more unbuttoned as the show went on, with the Aussie frontman later resembling a religious preacher. Adoring fans were treated to material from new album Wild God, the band kicking off their set with Frogs followed by the record’s title track. The storming set, lasting two-and-a- half hours, also included classics such as O Children and Tupelo.

An undoubted highlight was fan fave Red Right Hand – the theme tune of TV drama Peaky Blinders – and a beautiful rendition of Into My Arms during the encore. Cave is truly a master of his craft. Sisters doing it, Jess JESS WRIGHT says sister-in-law Michelle Keegan is supporting her as she looks to build on her acting career.

Ex-Towie star Jess said at the Chain of Hope Gala Ball at London’s Natural History Museum: “It’s going well, it’s exciting, I love it – and I think go for what you love and dream of.” Michelle, who starred in Netflix hit Fool Me Once earlier this year, has been key. Jess added: “She’s always there, fully supportive.

” And Asked if she will go down the Netflix route, Jess added: “I always said a period drama, but let’s start with small steps .” She recently said she is auditioning, after previously starring in 2019 action film Rise of the Footsoldier: Marbella. Perhaps we will see Jess in the next run of Bridgerton .

Corrs Blimey THANKS to TikTok memes, Nineties music is back in fashion. So it was no surprise that the first night of The Corrs ’ Talk On Corners tour was sold out and packed with fans of all ages. The Irish quartet were supported by another of the decade’s icons, Natalie Imbruglia, who was perfect to get the crowd going.

Then siblings Andrea, Caroline, Sharon and Jim took to the stage at at the SSE Arena in Belfast to perform tracks from their classic 1997 album Talk On Corners, which is being re-released on limited-edition colour vinyl. Dressed in a leather mini-dress and boots , Andrea looked better than ever as she declared: “It feels like yesterday we made it. Well, it kinda was.

” It’s impossible to believe the band are nearing their fifties and sixties, with eight kids between them, as the sisters somehow look better than they did in the Nineties (sorry, Jim). Fan faves including Radio , So Young and I Never Loved You Anyway offered some much-needed escapism for a Friday night. Andrea said: “There’s enough bad stuff in the world.

We’ve got to make the most of a good, loving, fun environment. Let’s blow the roof off!” READ MORE SUN STORIES The band took it back to their roots with performances on the tin whistle and the bodhran, before Andrea was left emotional as the 10,000-strong crowd sang Runaway back at her.
