Sean 'Diddy' Combs' bail request has been denied by the district court judge overseeing his sex trafficking and racketeering case. The rapper will remain in federal custody after the decision was announced. US District Judge Andrew Carter made the call after hearing arguments from the lawyers.

According to court documents obtained by The Mirror , Diddy allegedly "used force, threats of fore, and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended sex acts with male commercial sex workers that Combs referred to as, among other things, 'Freak Offs.'" Diddy continues to deny all allegations made against him and pleaded not guilty to the charges he faces on Tuesday. According to TMZ , the judge turned down the latest bail request on Wednesday because "the government has proven the defendant is a danger.

The bail package is insufficient even on risk of flight." Manhattan federal Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky originally ordered the musician to be held without bail on Wednesday. She made the ruling after an almost two-hour-long hearing where prosecutors and Diddy's lawyer argued on whether he should be jailed until he faces trial.

His lawyers had been offering $50million (£38m) for bail and in-home detention. It was claimed by authorities that they found supplies for the alleged Freak Offs in the rapper's home. There was allegedly "narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant" found and seized.

The musician is currently being detained at New York's Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC). The disgraced British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was also held there before she was convicted of sex trafficking. Inside the premises, Diddy can be expected to be monitored 24 hours a day.

It's said he will also be subjected to humiliating strip and body-cavity searches. A j ail insider told the Mirror : "Some people have gone into the MDC and never come out. It is notoriously tough, and there is no doubt Diddy will, like Maxwell, be a target inside.

His lawyers will be doing all they can to get him out. It is a monumental fall from grace. One day he's living the millionaire life, and now he's in hell on earth.
