Juventus have been given an injury scare over star striker Dusan Vlahovic ahead of facing Aston Villa in the Champions League. Unai Emery’s Villa host the Serie A giants at Villa Park next Wednesday night (8pm) in their next Champions League league phase tie. But Juve are sweating over the fitness of Vlahovic, who has scored nine goals in 16 matches this season.
Vlahovic suffered an injury on international duty with Serbia on Monday night in their Nations League clash with Denmark. He was forced off in the closing minutes of the 0-0 draw with a muscular problem. I’m sorry. I’ll see what the situation is after the inspection in Turin.” It is the second notable injury to a Juventus player during the November international break after defender Juan Cabal suffered a torn ACL while training with Colombia last week.
