A major outdoor retailer has opened a new shop at a retail park. Mountain Warehouse is now in business at Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne. It marks a return to the town for the brand - it had a store in the Beacon Shopping Centre but it closed down in 2022.
The new 8,645sqft branch is in the unit that was previously Clarks. It features women's, men's and children's wear and equipment across one floor. Mountain Warehouse said the new shop has created ten jobs.

The coastal lifestyle brand offers organic cotton tees and hoodies featuring the Animal logo, as well as skiwear and accessories.
This is Mountain Warehouse's eighth store in Sussex with others in Brighton , Chichester and Worthing..
