In the days leading up to Saturday night's showdown with the Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers head coach Brian Kelly knew his team was in for a challenge. “Coming off a bye week our team is excited about getting on the field, certainly at home against an outstanding football team in Alabama. Again, it’s like anything else, each and every week in the SEC is an incredible challenge, and one that we’ll have to meet with the best game of the year.

Certainly we didn’t execute for four quarters well enough against A&M, and we lost that game on the road," he said. Unfortunately, he may not have known just how much of a challenge was waiting for his team. Saturday night's College Football Playoff elimination game turned into a blowout of epic proportions.

Tiger Stadium started emptying out following Milroe's incredible run and now the stadium looks like it did hours before kickoff.
