The Week 12 college football slate featured some incredible SEC matchups, like No. 7 Tennessee versus No. 12 Georgia and No.

3 Texas versus Arkansas. While many had their attention pointed toward those ranked teams, another SEC program sought a much-needed victory in Lexington, Kentucky, on Saturday. The 3-6 Kentucky Wildcats hosted the 1-9 Murray State Racers.

As seen in a video posted by On3's Kentucky Sports Radio just before Kentucky's 1:30 p.m. ET game against Murray State, it was a tough scene inside UK's Kroger Field.

Game-time temperatures hovered in the mid-50s under partly cloudy skies, with no rain in the forecast. The crowd at kickoff of Kentucky vs. Murray State.

"Most empty I've seen the tailgate scene at Kroger Field since 2020. Chilly conditions, FCS opponent and a 3-6 home team will do that," he wrote. Jordan Prather-Imagn Images Kentucky's Kroger Field seats approximately 61,000 fans.

It was originally constructed in 1973. It underwent a $126 million renovation in 2015. "The renovation includes a new press box, loge box seats, club seats, recruiting room, suites, concourses, bathrooms, lights and exterior facade while reducing capacity to around 61,000," the official website of Kentucky athletics wrote.

While there has yet to be a confirmed attendance count for the Week 12 game, it wasn't looking good early. They're the No. 15 ranked team in the SEC with a 1-6 conference record.

Heading into Week 12, the Wildcats were riding a four-game losing streak. Related: Lee Corso Predicts Big College Football Upset on Saturday Related: Kirk Herbstreit Predicts Undefeated College Football Team to Lose on Saturday.
