Last Friday was perfect for Daffodil Day. The sun was out enticing us all out, and so too were the volunteers on the streets fundraising for essential cancer services. Services that nobody in their right mind would argue against, or deny anyone.

Last year, the funds raised paid for lifts for cancer patients to and from hospital, night nurses, counselling, support services and a children’s fund..
