Openreach is currently working on a section of the A Road that has closed off the area for at least four days. The roadworks are expected to be completed by around 6pm by Openreach - after a total of 40 hours of completed work.
Multiple diversions are in place for those travelling from Glastonbury and Bridgwater. Expect these routes to be signposted when leaving both Somerset towns. A spokesperson from Travel Somerset: "The A39 is closed 8am to 6pm due to Openreach works from today, Jan 20 to Wed 23 (6pm).
