Main Line roundup: Sacred Heart basketball team advances to tourney final

The Sacred Heart Academy basketball team defeated Renaissance Academy, 46-39, Friday in the semifinals of the Mimi Miner Tournament. For the Lions, Megan Donahoe scored 14 points, Dani Jeffries 11, Bella Donohue a career-high nine and Keara McCaffrey seven. Donahoe scored 12 second-half points and went 5-for-6 from the free throw line. McCaffrey added 14 rebounds, four blocked shots and four assists. The Lions will face Pope John Paul II in the championship game Saturday. PJP defeated Upper Darby, 45-44, as Caitlyn Cianci hit the game-winning 3 pointer with 11 seconds left.
