Ben Whishaw, who voices the beloved bear, and Hugh Bonneville, who plays Mr Brown, were on the red carpet in Leicester Square on Sunday ahead of the film's release on November 8. They got to meet a faithful recreation of Michael Bond's character, made by the team at the world famous attraction. Ben Whishaw who voices the famous bear got up close to the Madame Tussauds figure.

Other cast members who lined up with Paddington included Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas and Emily Mortimer - who has taken over the role of Mrs Brown. Madame Tussauds artists worked with items from Paddington’s wardrobe, including props used during the making of the new film, to capture measurements, colour readings, and scans and create like-for-like replicas.
Textured fur was created for a lifelike finish, and over 20 loaves of bread were studied, trialled and moulded to create the perfect slice for the marmalade sandwich held in his paw. The Paddington waxwork figure can be seen from Tuesday November 5th at Madame Tussauds in Baker Street. It's part of the new Street Studios film and TV zone where Paddington will sit alongside Ncuti Gatwa as The Doctor, Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes, James Bond, and E.T. The attraction's general manager Steve Blackburn said: “Paddington is a true national treasure, a staple of British culture and a beloved character that generations have grown up with.
"As everyone’s favourite bear hits film screens for yet another adventure, it’s the perfect time for Paddington to join our attraction. “Our artists have worked closely with STUDIOCANAL to create Paddington’s first-ever Madame Tussauds London figure to ensure that everything from his iconic duffle coat to his button eyes are brought to life. "To have cast members Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer and Hugh Bonneville give their seal of approval assures us that this marmalade-loving bear is sure to warm our guests’ hearts.
