Macy's 2024 Thanksgiving Day Parade is a possible target for both foreign and domestic terroristic violence, a report has claimed. The nation's largest Thanksgiving celebration faces a significant threat which "stems from lone offenders and small groups of individuals seeking to commit acts of violence," states a report obtained by ABC News put out by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and New York Police Department. While there is no "specific, actionable threat," pinpointed in the document, it does specify a concern about vehicle ramming.

m. on Manhattan's Upper West Side and follow a 2 1/2-mile route toward Herald Square. Some 2 million spectators and 10,000 participants are expected to take part in the procession.
The plans include 17 featured character balloons, 22 floats, 15 heritage and novelty balloons, over 700 clowns, 11 marching bands, 10 performance groups and Santa Claus to wrap up proceedings. Disney's Minnie Mouse and Marvel's Spider-Man are among six new featured character balloons.
