M&A adviser Rickitt Mitchell says deals market is bouncing back as it names new managing partner

Neil Mitchell says ‘high-growth businesses are increasingly coming back to market’

Manchester-based deals finance specialist Rickitt Mitchell has named Neil Mitchell as its new managing partner – and he says the M&A market is showing signs of recovery. Mr Mitchell, who has worked on deals worth more than £1.75bn over the course of his career, joined the firm in 2004 and was promoted to partner in 2014.

Earlier this year he advised Zelus Sport, Nike’s exclusive authorised global licensee for team sports, on its investment from London-based private equity firm, Sullivan Street Partners Other deals he has worked on at Rickitt Mitchell include leading a triple track process delivering the £80m flotation of Van Elle Holdings, the £49m disposal of Fredericks Dairies and the sale of private equity-backed Antler Luggage to Australia based Strandbags. Mr Mitchell also works with fellow M&A experts in 35 countries as part of the M&A Worldwide network, leading the UK market’s efforts in the Healthcare sector.
