M66 traffic LIVE: Chaos on three motorways as all traffic stopped by police

Drivers on the M60, M62 and M66 are all facing severe delays this morning.

Traffic on three major motorways is facing delays this morning after the M66 was closed. A police incident on the northbound carriageway has brought traffic to a halt, with queues also affecting the M60 and M62 as a result. The M66 closure is in place in Greater Manchester from junctions 4 (M62) and 3 (Pilsworth).
