The incident was first reported around 7.45 this morning. Two lanes were closed on the southbound carriageway as traffic cameras show queues on the A49 headed south from Wigan.
A spokesperson for Inrix said: “M6 Southbound entry slip road closed slow traffic, two lanes closed due to shed load at J25 (Bryn).“The entry slip road and two lanes closed on the main carriageway.”Drivers are facing delays on the M6 carriageway.
