SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A preliminary magnitude 5.8 earthquake has struck near Yerington, Nevada.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck around 3:10 p.



m. It was centered about 50 miles east of Carson City, Nevada. People reported feeling it in Reno, Roseville and Sacramento so far.
