When you’re a medical researcher, the best part of the process is when a new medicine is approved for use in patients. Three medicines I am directly involved in are being tested in patients for several diseases, including Parkinson’s disease, severe asthma and heart disease. We’re at an early stage and more tests are needed before approval is applied for.
