LS Marine Solution and LS Cable & System have been selected as the preferred negotiators to supply submarine cables for the Taean Offshore Wind Project in South Chungcheong Province. This project, led by Singapore-based renewable energy company Vena Energy, aims to develop a large-scale offshore wind farm with a capacity of about 500MW off the coast of Geunheung-myeon, Taean. It is targeted for completion by 2029.

In this project, LS Cable & System will supply the submarine cables, while LS Marine Solutions will handle their installation. The two companies plan to provide an integrated solution from design to production and installation, maximizing the efficiency and stability of the project.
