Oil marketing companies have revised the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders, with the new rates effective from Tuesday, 1st October. The cost of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been increased by Rs 48.50.
A 19 kg LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,740 up from Rs 1,691.50 in Delhi. The prices of 5 kg Free Trade LPG cylinders have gone up by Rs 12.
This hike comes just a few days before the beginning of the festive season. The last increase occurred on September 1 when oil marketing companies raised the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 39. This hike came after a previous price cut on July 1, which was intended to alleviate costs for businesses and commercial establishments.
During that adjustment, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was decreased by Rs 30.
