LPA to bring cloudy skies, scattered rain over parts of Visayas, Mindanao

The Low Pressure Area (LPA), whic was was estimated at 695 kilometers east of Butuan City, Agusan del Norte will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over parts of Visayas and Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

The Low Pressure Area (LPA), whic was was estimated at 695 kilometers east of Butuan City, Agusan del Norte will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over parts of Visayas and Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon or habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas. Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, Central Visayas, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, Leyte, Southern Leyte, and Eastern Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to heavy rains.

Palawan and the rest of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains. Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.



The wind speed forecast for Luzon and Visayas is light to moderate moving in the southwest to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to west direction with slight to moderate coastal waters. Sunrise will be at 5:44 a.
