Fans have shared their heartache for Tina Stinnes following a comment she made about Scott Thomas in the Love Island villa. Tina, 29, has been coupled-up with Scott, 36, on the ITV2 show for almost two weeks. He has expressed doubts about their romance in that time but the co-stars have continued to grow close whilst in the All Stars villa in South Africa .
It was announced on Friday, ahead of that evening's episode, that Scott had decided to leave the villa because he didn't want to "force" a connection or "waste" her time amid his doubts. His departure has yet to air though. That night's episode itself saw Tina share her thoughts on their romance following the arrival of new bombshell Omar Nyame, who asked about the state of the couples at the moment.
Tina told him: "I'm coupled-up with Scott. It's going well." She went on to reference there having been some issues in their romance recently, saying: "We had a little blip once but it's good.
But still open." Fans reacted on X and shared that they were heartbroken for Tina, knowing that Scott is set to leave the villa - though not yet known to her when she made the comment. One viewer wrote: "Tina is about to be so blindsided.
Ugh...
yikes. She's telling Omar is going so well with Scott." Another person wrote in a post: "Aww Tina if only you knew girl.
.. surely when Scott leaves she will be in tears.
" Someone else said: "Poor Tina thinks it’s still going well with Scott." A fourth viewer wrote: "Awww Tina thinks she's going strong with Scott." Whilst one fan said on the platform: "Genuinely feel so bad for Tina, this girl has been led on.
" "Poor Tina don't know what's coming for her," another viewer said. Sharing their thoughts, one fan wrote: "I feel so s**t for Tina, she seems like she'll be completely blindsided by Scott leaving." Someone else said: "I feel bad for Tina.
" Alongside a teary-eyed emoji, one fan wrote: "I feel so bad for Tina. She literally thinks everything is going well with Scott." Beside a photo of a tearful cat, another said: "Tina thinks her and Scott are doing well.
" Scott and Tina - who first met on Love Island in 2016 - appeared to grow close following her arrival into the villa. More recently though, she had become aware that he had doubts about their romance, with Luca Bish saying in a previous episode: "I think [Scott] wants to get far in here. And that's why you're with Tina and you're not feeling it now.
" Following the news, Scott spoke to Tina and said: "I just don't know if I'm fully in it." They have since continued to spend time together in the villa, and even shared a few kisses, though. Scott also said that he was "so relieved" that Tina was saved from the latest dumping .
It was however reported on Friday that Scott had decided to leave the villa following the latest recoupling. A source told the Sun that he has struggled to "push past his doubts" about their romance, which had reportedly grown in recent days. The source said that Scott was "unable" to move past the feeling that Tina "wasn't right for him," adding that his "biggest priority" was not "wasting her precious time" in the villa.
The source said: "After taking some time out with the dedicated Love Island welfare team, Scott decided that the best thing he could do for himself was to remove himself from the situation. He's done so much work over recent years on self-love and he didn't want to force a connection for the sake of it." Love Island is set to continue on Saturday night on ITV2 and ITVX from 9pm with Unseen Bits.
The main show is set to continue on Sunday evening. Like this story? For more of the latest showbiz news and gossip, follow Mirror Celebs on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads ..
