Affectionately known as “Bozo,” he worked as an Iron Worker and was later an associate in the garden center at Wal-Mart for over 25 years.

His family was of the utmost importance to him, and held them all near to his heart. Louis was an avid gardener and was passionate about growing and grafting his vegetable plants and fruit trees. Many enjoyable family memories were made while fishing with his children and grandchildren.



Bozo served with honor in the United States Army and was an active member of VFW Post 2130. Mr. Pizanie is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Lorenza Bolotte Pizanie; his wife, Anna Marie Stoica Pizanie; son, Louis “Lin” Alvin Pizanie II; seven siblings, and son-in-law, Doug Gould.

Louis is survived by his daughter Cathy Gould; grandchildren, Amber Clark and husband, Russel, Devin Pizanie, and Sabrina Gould, and wife Gina, Pisoni, and Donald Gould, along with several great-grandchildren, and his sister, Wilda June Slessinger. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m.

until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov.

22, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.

at St. John the Divine Christian Orthodox Church located at 3612 Kirkman St, Lake Charles, LA 70607. Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park.
