A LOTTERY player has just hours left to claim their $100,000 win before it is gone forever. Powerball officials have issued a frantic three-step warning for the winner to claim their cash. They were one of two players from Illinois to win $100,000 on that draw by correctly guessing the first four numbers and the Powerball. The unknown winner even went through the effort of paying slightly more to get the Power Play which was 2x for that draw.This meant that rather than winning $50,000, they doubled their prize – an even bigger reason why they must come forward.



All Powerball prizes must be claimed within one year of the draw date. This means that by tomorrow, March 23, 2025, if no one claims it, the cash will be lost for good.So, all Powerball players in Illinois are urged to check old pockets and hidden safe places for the ticket as well as any digital versions.

The winning numbers were: 06, 23, 25, 34, 51 and Powerball 03.In the hunt for the winner, officials have revealed that the ticket was bought from Huck’s in Calumet Street, Centralia.If the prize money is not claimed, it will go to the state’s public education fund and towards other special causes.
