Los Angeles Welcomes Week of Sunshine and Mild Temperatures, Says National Weather Service

Los Angeles is expected to have sunny days with mild temperatures and occasional patchy fog, according to the National Weather Service.

Los Angeles can expect a week of sunny days and fair nights, starting today with a comfortable high near 74 degrees. Light winds will pick up in the afternoon, aiming for a cool down come evening with a low around 53, according to the National Weather Service.Friday calls for more sun and a slight nudge upwards in temperature, with highs expected to hit near 76.

And while the weekend may introduce some clouds and patchy fog, predominantly in the nocturnal and early morning hours, the days should hold their warmth. Friday night's forecast anticipates the fog after 11:00 p.m.



, followed by a Saturday that will clear up after 11:00 a.m. The city is set, to enjoy a high near 73 degrees after the fog lifts.

The tease of clouds won't linger too long as Sunday is predicted to be mostly sunny with a high near 76, and similar conditions will stretch into the beginning of the next week. Monday may even see a surge to a high near 81. With nightfall, expect mostly clear skies and mild lows.
