The east southeast wind was mild earlier in the day, shifting to west southwest in the afternoon as reported by the National Weather Service.

The city will witness similar weather patterns as the week progresses; patchy fog is expected to consistently appear before 11:00 a.m. across the next few days.

On Thursday, residents will experience patchy fog before 11:00 a.m. Otherwise, the weather will be partly sunny, with a high near 69.

Winds will stay mild as the pattern of fog and cloudiness continues into the weekend. Friday and Saturday will hover around the same temperatures, while Sunday introduces a chance of rain to the city.As the chance for rain increases slightly, Los Angeles will see temperatures falling modestly.

Sunday's outlook anticipates "a slight chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 67," before the new week opens up partly sunny with highs near 69 degrees, according to the NWS.
