And children across Acadiana are getting ready to tell Santa about how they definitely put away their toys the first time they were asked and didn't yell at their siblings. The man in the red suit will be popping up across Lafayette, Broussard and Acadiana, ready to take photos with families and listen to what's on the wish list. Here's where to find Santa this holiday season.

Santa will be available daily until Dec. 24 by the Talbot's entrance.
He’ll be meeting with families from 11 a.m. to 7 p.
m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.
to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and from noon to 6 p.
m. on Sundays. He’ll be available on Christmas Eve from 10 a.
m. to 5 p.m.
Walk ups are welcome and reservations can be made online . Noel Acadien au Village Santa will make an appearance at Acadian Village's Noel Acadien au Village. The village transforms into a bright winter wonderland complete with live music, concessions and carnival rides for an additional cost.
The festivities happen nightly (weather permitting) from 5:30-9 p.m. on Dec.
1-Dec. 23. Tickets can be bought at the gate or online at lafayettelarc.
org . Winterfest at Adopted Dog Brewery Adopted Dog Brewery will have live music, hot cocoa and Santa during its Winterfest, which starts at 11 a.m.
on Dec. 7. There also will be vendors and a release of the brewery's winter beer.
Christmas at Parc De Oaks Parc De Oaks will welcome Santa from 11 a.m. to 3 p.
m. on Dec. 7 and the Grinch from 11 a.
m. to 3 p.m.
on Dec. 8. Santa's Workshop will be set up and there also will be food trucks, the teddy bear mobile, face painting and games.
Sonic Christmas Parade The Sonic Christmas Parade marks the official arrival of Santa in Lafayette. The man in the red suit is the star of the parade, which also features floats, marching bands and dance clubs. The parade starts at 1 p.
m. at the Jefferson Street underpass, travels down Jeffers Street to Johnston toward the Oil Center. The celebration continues at Parc International where Santa will take photos and letters to Santa will be mailed to the North Pole.
Santa's Workshop on Antigua Drive The house at 163 Antigua Drive in Lafayette will be lit up nightly starting Dec. 1. But Santa is making a special visit for families to take photos (weather permitting) from 6-9 pm.
Dec. 6-8 and Dec. 12-15.
Christmas at Moncus Park Christmas in the Park is a free three-day festival from 6-9 p.m. Dec.
13-15 at Moncus Park. There will be live music and a movie night featuring the 2018 "The Grinch." There also will be an artisan market, selfie stations and a light tunnel.
Paid attractions including photos with Santa, a s'mores zone, face painting and "Sneauxville" from 6-9 p.m. on Dec.
13-14. Old Time Winter Family Day Vermilionville will be demonstrating the winter traditions of Acadian, Creole and Native American cultures from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m. on Dec.
14 during the Old Time Winter Family Day. Children can write letters to and meet Papa Noel, the French Santa Claus who was actually a trapper who would deliver presents. Admission is $5 for those ages 2 and up.
Lafayette Public Library Santa is touring the East Regional Lafayette Parish Public Library from 9-10 a.m. on Dec.
23. He'll be taking photos and children will be able to enjoy a craft and a candy cane. Mail Santa a letter For those who prefer making sure Santa has a hard-copy of their wish list, letters can be mailed to Santa before Dec.
11. Senders need to include their return address in the upper left corner of the envelope and a stamp in the upper right corner. Letters can be addressed to Santa, 123 Elf Road, North Police, 88888.
