MANILA, Philippines – The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) held a public sendoff for Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024 Jasmin Bungay at the Quantum Skyview of Gateway Mall 2 in Cubao, Quezon City, on Wednesday September 18. Bungay will be flying to Albania in October for the Miss Globe 2024 pageant, where she will be representing the Philippines.
The 26-year-old beauty queen was named Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024 in July. Bungay made waves during her Binibining Pilipinas stint in July for her response to judge Gloria Diaz’s question in the Q&A portion of the pageant . Diaz asked, “If you were given 30 minutes to talk to the public, what would you talk about?” “If I would be given 30 minutes to talk to the public, I would like to talk about the passing of the SOGIESC bill .
Because, in celebrations such as pageants, this community has contributed so much. And, in this regard, we can give back to them by supporting this cause because, as an individual, it is our responsibility that we ensure that everyone is treated equally despite their SOGIE,” the 26-year-old beauty queen answered. Bungay aims to follow in the footsteps of Ann Colis and Maureen Montagne , who emerged victorious in the pageant in 2015 and 2021, respectively.
