KLICKITAT CO. — Sunday, Oct. 6 was the 2024 Klickitat County 4-H Achievement Program Awards.
Three White Salmon kids in the Lucky Clovers 4-H Club took home awards. The kids had to turn in a project at the Klickitat County Fair, turn in a record book, and be interviewed by a three-person panel. All three were each awarded multiple monetary scholarships as well as certificates and a trophy.
Awards. Kailee Goodman won the Grace and Wallace Davis Memorial award, a small animal award for her market goat project, a gold certificate for her record book, a 4-H project award for her market goat, a 4-H leaders council record book award, and her five-year 4-H membership pin. Charlie Vosika was awarded a gold certificate for his record book, a 4-H project medal for his market goat, a 4-H Leaders’ Council Record Book award, and his two-year membership pin.
Megan Vosika was awarded a gold certificate for her record book, a 4-H project medal for her market goat, a 4-H Leaders’ Council Record Book award, and her two-year membership pin. At fair, Megan also won Top of Show for her educational poster on the Internal Parasite Life Cycle and Top of Show and Judges choice for youth photography..
