David Martindale, Livingston FC manager, has been named the Scottish Championship Glen’s Manager of the Month after an unbeaten run in November, lifting the club to second place in the league table. Under Martindale’s guidance, Livingston secured seven points out of a possible nine in November with a 1-1 draw against Queen’s Park and victories over Hamilton Academical and league leaders Falkirk. These results have kept Livingston firmly in the mix for promotion as we enter the second half of the season.

Livingston FC manager, David Martindale, said:“This award is 100% a collective effort from everyone at the club and not just the coaching staff. We all had a huge job on our hands on the back of the disappointing season last year, and this award is just testament to everyone at the club to show that we are going in the right direction. “In all honesty, the guys in the boardroom are more deserving of this award than me.

Huge credit to Dave Black and both John Ward and John McIlvogue who have all laid the foundation that has allowed myself and my staff to build a competitive squad.” Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, said: "David Martindale has done a fantastic job with Livingston, leading the team to an unbeaten run in November and keeping them well-positioned in the race for promotion. His ability to get the best out of his players in such a competitive league is a real testament to his leadership and makes him a worthy winner of the Glen’s Championship Manager of the Month award.

"My congratulations go to David and everyone involved at Livingston, and we look forward to seeing how the rest of the season unfolds." Livingston are back in action on Friday night when they host Partick Thistle..
