As the months pass this has become described as arriving 'imminently'. However, Liverpool 's big rivals haven't heard a thing and there remains a shroud of mystery over what kind of punishment they will face if found guilty.
But a fresh report from Spain has hinted towards Man City's 'confident' feeling of avoiding specific types of retribution. Reported by Relevo , it is claimed outgoing sporting director Txiki Begiristain is set to prolong his exit from the club so that he can help oversee the summer transfer window. He will supposedly be doing this alongside replacement Hugo Viana to ensure a smooth transition of power.
With that, they write: "All this with the possible Premier League sanction against City for failing to comply with Financial Fair Play. The club's management is confident that there won't be a transfer ban, much less a loss of titles."
