Directed by Dean DeBlois — who also helmed the animated originals — the movie is set to soar into theaters on 13 June 2025 , bringing the Isle of Berk to life like never before. The film reintroduces all the iconic characters we know and love, but with a fresh cast.

Mason Thames ( The Black Phone ) takes on the role of Hiccup, Nico Parker ( The Last of Us , Dumbo ) stars as Astrid, and Julian Dennison ( Deadpool 2 ) portrays Fishlegs. Gerard Butler returns to the franchise to play Stoick the Vast, reprising his role from the animated trilogy.
