Live: Devon road blocked by vehicle fire

A vehicle fire is blocking a key route into a Devon village this morning (December 15). Motorists should expect delays in the area. The A3122 has been partially blocked near Halwell, with traffic building on a key route into the village.

There is particularly heavy traffic around the Halwell Business Park, according to Google Maps. The blockage was first reported by traffic-monitoring site Inrix at 10:54am today and continues to cause delays. Inrix reports: "Reports of A3122 in both directions partially blocked, slow traffic due to vehicle fire from Halwell Cross to A381.

The fire has been put out and the road should be open in the next ten minutes."
