Live A142 updates as crash sees road blocked near Newmarket

A major A-road on the Cambridgeshire border is partially blocked following a collision. The A142 Fordham Road is blocked between Windmill Hill (Newmarket) to Landwade Road (Fordham Abbey). There is traffic queuing in the area.

Traffic is able to pass the scene slowly. Emergency services have been contacted for more information. Inrix, the traffic data monitoring company, said: "A142 Fordham Road in both directions partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from Windmill Hill (Newmarket) to Landwade Road ( Fordham Abbey).
