Angelina Jolie's lesser-known movie, which is still a cult classic to some, has made its way to the streaming platform Netflix ahead of its 25-year anniversary

Angelina Jolie was a blonde bombshell before she became the beloved brunette beauty femme fatale she’s known to be. Throughout her decades-long career, the actress has been in many movies, some of which have gone down as cult classics , such as Life or Something Like It. The 2002 film’s quirky plot is about Angelina’s character Lanie Kerrigan, who is a feature reporter at a television station in Seattle .

Lanie (Angelina) has the picture-perfect life, which includes a superstar boyfriend, a gorgeous apartment, and a shot at a big network assignment. While her life is going well, it’s abruptly turned upside down when a homeless psychic tells her that she was living a meaningless existence, and she will die next week. After the unhoused fortune teller’s predictions start coming to fruition, Lanie begins to take a closer look at her life and priorities.

Almost 25 years after the movie premiered, Life or Something Like It is now streamable on Netflix. The early aughts flick definitely has some fans, as some have given it favorable reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. “What begins as a somewhat predictable Hollywood romantic comedy, spirals into a tender, sweet love story and opens the door to life's deeper and more meaningful issues,” one wrote on Rotten Tomatoes.

" The commenter continued: "I may not remember it well a year from now, but I'll at least remember seeing it.” A second on IMDb added, “I saw the preview of this movie and thought it was very enjoyable. It took a while to get used to Ms.

Jolie as a blonde. She should stay a brunette. This was a different kind of story and one that flowed very nicely.

The cast did a fine job of acting and it was a fast hour and a half. Go see it if you want to see a movie without a real message.” Meanwhile, someone else shared on the website, “An inspiring film to say the least.
